Johnny’s the one holding the team together - a solid foundation in every sense. He’s known for being approachable, genuinely easy to deal with, and always open to feedback. With a strong focus on clear, transparent communication, Johnny keeps projects running smoothly while making sure client’s feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. Organised, creative, and always thinking ahead, he brings structure to the build without losing the personal touch.
Harry
Registered Builder
Harry is our go-to man on site, a true “Mr Reliable” who keeps things running smoothly as Site Foreman. With 10+ years experience, he brings a strong skillset across all aspects of residential construction. Known for his punctuality, work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail, Harry takes pride in getting things right the first time. He’s confident in interpreting plans, managing materials, and has a solid grasp of the building code and regulations. On top of that, he’s big on health and safety, helping ensure every job is delivered to a high standard and a safe site for everyone involved.

Luka
Registered Builder
Luka brings a unique blend of creativity and craftsmanship to the team. Inspired by his love of music, he built complex stage sets and large-scale timber installations before turning his focus to residential and commercial building. A qualified builder with around eight years’ experience, Luca is practical, detail-driven, and thrives on turning ideas into well-crafted results.
Matt
Registered Builder
Matt has over 15 years of building experience to the team, including time spent successfully running his own company. He’s our go-to problem solver — the kind of guy who can think on his feet and come up with practical, well-thought-out solutions no matter the challenge. Down to earth, polite, and a real family man, Matt is someone clients and the team alike genuinely enjoy working with.

Ben
Adult Apprentice
Ben’s journey with Fenwick Builders started as a client on his own new build and somewhere along the way, he decided to jump the fence and join the team. We’re pretty glad he did.Although technically an apprentice, Ben brings a strong military background along with a solid dose of real-world, practical experience. He’s reliable, disciplined, and takes a thoughtful, hands-on approach to his work. Ben’s attitude and willingness to learn make him a valuable part of the crew.
Thomas
Registered Builder
With nearly 20 years’ experience across New Zealand and the UK, Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. His background spans residential builds, renovations, and high-end architectural projects. Known for his eye for detail and ability to see a build as a whole, Thomas is passionate about bringing out the best in a home while staying true to its character. Having run his own company and led teams, he brings strong leadership and a calm, considered approach to every project.
We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our trusted network of subcontractors. These include; electricians, plumbers, plasterers, painters, drain layers, draughtsman, architects and engineers. We believe that our partnerships contribute to our success, and ensure that the quality of work is always up to our high standards.

Our qualifications include Licensed Building Practitioners, qualified builders, apprentices, and quality labourers. Our team hold first aid certificates and heavy traffic licenses. We are dedicated to ongoing training to ensure we are always staying up-to-date with the latest construction codes and regulations.
